Hi all,

Why am I not allowed to post a link as a "clicky"? Is it jus due to length of service or because I have been labelled as a head case?

You should be able to post links, it's all to do with post count and you are way beyond the amount needed.

I'm a headcase and they let me post links all the time (nutters)

Some URL's are not allowed, like shortened ones from twitter

What is the URL of the link you are trying to post up?

Thank you both Barnabysue & mclarkie for replying.

I did manage to post the link on the (forgotten exact name of thread sorry) thread about what are you listening to right now, but every time I tried to put a 'clicky' (hope I'm using the right terminology!) it came up with "You do not have permission etc...please refresh page and re log in". I think that all sounds nonsense sorry - what I was trying to do was post a link (it was a you tube song) and mask it (a clicky?) with some words. Nothing offensive just "Deep breaths".

I think it's cos you are a headcase And it takes one to know one

So are you talking about the hypertext thingy? The one with a greenish planet icon with what could be a safety pin at the bottom?

That's what I use to do it, as in:

They're coming to take me away - ha-ha

I typed the text, highlighted it, clicked on the world icon, pasted the url, and clicked ok. Is that what you do?

Grrrr... still not working.

I've followed the instructions and I keep getting this..

It then logs me out and I have to re log in. Maybe it's just my taste in music??

i did a test and it worked for me :T I've only got 137 posts, so if you keep posting in chat or even on this thread you'll get there. Maybe it's the magical 100??? And thanks Blu, most useful
