Barclays online banking changes - mortgage disappeared?

Hello all,

I have a Woolwich offset mortgage linked to my Barclays current and savings accounts. When I log on to online banking now, all reference to my mortgage have disappeared. There used to be a 'mortgage account' from where you could see how much was owing, what next month's payment would be, make overpayments, adjust the offset arrangement, see what term was remaining etc. All very useful information!

I have not heard anything from Barclays that things were changing, does anyone know what has happened, or where to find this information? I've spent too long on hold yesterday and today, their live webchat is 'busy' and the branch staff have no idea, so I thought I'd try you guys!

    I've got a Woolwich offset mortgage too, and mine has also disappeared from online banking. Just thought I'd let you know it's not just you. Sorry I can't be more help.

    Same here. Strangely the mortgage balance still appears on the Barclays iPad app.

    I hope it comes back as it was really handy to see what next months payment was going to be.
  • I have the same problem. I first noticed it a week ago. I managed to get through on their live webchat a few days ago and was told there's a technical problem but it would be fixed by today, 3rd October. However it hasn't been fixed and there's still no offset mortgage info on Barclays online banking. I tried the webchat again, and they confirmed the problem still hasn't been fixed, but this time there's no estimated resolution date. So in summary, they have a technical problem, they're trying to sort it out, but they don't know how long that'll take.

    It's not very impressive that it's taking this long. Also I would expect an information message to appear when you sign in to online banking, explaining this, but there is none. So if anyone from Barclays is reading this - your customer service is very poor in relation to this issue!

    PS I've been using MSE for years but have never commented on the forums before.
