Password protect my new hard drive

Hi,

I just got an external USB hard drive. I want to add files to it but put passwords on some of the folders on it in case it falls into the wrong hands.

Is it possible to do this? Preferably without impairing on the performance of the drive if at all possible.

Look no further than the excellent free TrueCrypt.

For whatever reason my TrueCrypt volumes on my USB pen drives writes 2-3 faster than on a normal partition (lots of small files)! G
