We have just spent 5 nights at this hotel omg what a nightmare, constantly unable to enter the room with the swipe card, had to keep going down to reception to get it sorted to be told we must be storing it next to credit cards or travelling on the underground neither correct, the newly refurbished room had a part painted wall dirt still in corners of the bathroom floor which I assume was left by workmen, everyday we had to ask reception for toels as the housekeeping person kept leaving one small hand towel we were a couple, the so called plump pillows well I have slept on softer concrete, and the receptionist kept calling me Miss Sheila as she was unable I think to say my surname but never asked how too, the rooms were so hot I was physically sick and there was no heating on the windows could not be left open due to heavy traffic all night, I emailed Travelodge when we returned home 6 days ago about this and they have not bothered to reply, do we have any grounds for compensation ?

I stayed in this Travelodge in May for 6 nights. While basic I experienced no problems whatsoever. The rooms were cleaned daily, towels provided, there was a wall heater which could be turned on or off and the reception staff couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful.0

Why didn't you ask to see the manager while you were there? Then they might have been able to remedy your complaints.
Little point in complaining after you have left.
No free lunch, and no free laptop
