Cross Promoting Items

I didnt used to cross-promote my items as i was selling two items that weren't very related so it didnt seem like a good idea, i have since changed my preferences and ticked the box to say that I should promote them but I cant see them at the bottom of the screen, any ideas? Have tried logging off to see if its any different when i'm not logged in as me but still can't see em - am i being daft cos it seems like this should be relatively simple???

Cross-promotions only show directly in listings if you have an eBay shop. For everyone else, cross promotions appear after someone bids or buys from you.

Where do cross-promotions appear?

For all sellers, cross-promotions appear when a buyer bids on or wins your item. For eBay Shop sellers, cross-promotions also appear when a buyer views your listing.

Cross-promotions can appear in listings with any selling format, and in any category.
