Barclay Card blocked

So for the 3rd time or so, my card has been blocked. I think it's because I have been using it quite a bit over the passed few days and today used it at University, online and in a different city (not that far from my university though).

Last time this happened, my Mother rang a number, which was an automated call on the other end, and it listed the last several transactions I had made, and confirmed them as me and not fraudulent use.

However, I don't know what that number was. If I can get that number, I'll be able to use my card again. I really don't like talking to other people on the phone so really need this automated method.

Thanks!
-Jake.

I don't have a Barclaycard any longer, but when I did the number I had to call was 0845 401 9125 to OK transactions.

I use my BC on a daily basis often in different county's yet they don't block me.

Get on the bone and ask them why
  • had this with RBS debit card, made a few transactions in quick sucession online and they blocked the card and phoned me....had to confirm the amounts etc.

Im pretty happy they did that to be fair, shows they are looking out.

Agreed. I've used my BC for cash withdrawals abroad a few times when my Clarity has been blocked and they've never said or done anything.
