Earning less returning to work?

Options
Oh works full time, I've been at home with daughter who is disabled with complex needs, so getting dla. Youngest son has just started school, so I'm looking at returning to work.

I've started a job 25 hours per week, but have calculated that with losing dla and child tax credits I'll earn just over £100 a month:eek:

The demands of Dd, fitting in her therapies, finding childcare for son, travel etc running house, make it seem that better to actually stay at home.

Am I missing something? This really doesn't seem right?
