Why is the dining room not got rendered / plastered walls on the inside?
Is it because the walls were so damp (possibly because of the serious undergrowth on the outside) that all the plaster fell off??

How competitively priced is this vs other similar houses in the area?
Need to factor in new kitchen and probably bathroom, redecor and remedial work to get rid of the herbage outside. I share concerns of others re the ivy - a wee bit is nice, but this much is likely to lead to structural damage eventually. (I speak as someone who had to rebuild a victorian garden stone wall due to the ivy growing over and through it and pulling the stones apart.....)

On the plus side, garden looks quite reasonably sized, scope for extending if you wanted to and if it made sense based on the price of the property and expected uplift in value (if there is one)

I think this is one for Sleeping Beauty myself, even got the Beast in the back garden - or was that a different fairy tale?

    Good luck!
