Free calender wanted

lipsthefish

Hello all, I am looking for a free desktop calender type program, something that will pop a message up on my screen for appointments, its only for personal use so a simple, possibly fun thing would be nice:D I have tried googling but there is so many results I dont know where to start, some say shareware?, some freeware, Im just lost

Any help much appreciated,
Louise

There was a thread on this a couple of months ago and someone recommended Rainlendar

I downloaded it and am very pleased with it. It does upcoming events, to do lists as well as a desktop calendar. When you switch on the PC in the morning it pops up any events for that day and they are also displayed on the desktop. Its pretty customisable and free. HTH

Just beaten to it!
