I'm thinking it's Bolivia but could also be Peru or Chile

I saw something on Sky news early this morning linking to this comp and they showed a local playing Peruvian flute music... :D HTH

  • This sort of music is common in other South American countries too though. Bolivia and Ecuador especially, though it's found throughout the Andes and even further afield. It's also kind of known as "South American", so news editors might well just stick it in a clip even if it wasn't particularly relevant to the area. It might well be Peru, but I wouldn't count on it. Hopefully we'll get some more clues once people have been to the various places listed on the website as having codes!

If you Google the name of the airline it's Peruvian so. . . . Peru?
  • I watched the videos and two of the clues were north of Chile and south of Ecuador so I have guessed Peru.

The Fairtrade Premium is used by farmers and workers in the world's poorest countries to help them invest in business, social and environmental projects in their local communities. In 2012, how much did they receive in total?

    65 million is the answer

Also reading up on it and Peru is named as a country used in this project.

In episode 5, it mentions guinea pigs as food and the Incas, and in one of he clues I got, it mentions that it is just East of the Andes.

http://equalexchange.coop/history-of-coffee-in-peru Not sure if this, or any of the links at the bottom of the webpage might help....

Another article which Fairtrade might not be so keen on is http://www.ft.com/cms/s/2/d191adbc-3f4d-11db-a37c-0000779e2340.html#axzz2gZ6Doe78 which mentions two geographic areas, where one man came from, which I can find on the map, and another, where a Fairtrade producer is based, which I cannot find. Any help appreciated!
