Remove a brick

My kitchen sink waste pipe is slightly too high where it exits through the wall because after all the u bend bits the exit is actually about 2 inches 'uphill'. I am sure that there will be more standing waste water in the pipes than necessary.
Anyway, my question is how best to get through the wall (I think its brick then breeze block) - drill/chisel?
I think if I take out roughly a half brick immediately below the hole that is already there then I will be fine.
What will be best to fill in afterwards, should I be adding some insulation on the inside and get ready mix filler type stuff for the outside bit? I can;t imagine I would need a lot.
Thanks

Drill a number of holes and then use a hammer /chisel.
Yes buy smallest bag of ready mix , less waste.0 -
When I did this I used a SDS drill with a suitable sized diamond core bit to drill through a solid block 9" wall. It left a neat hole the right size and angle for the waste pipe.
I already had the drill, and I think that the diamond core bit cost about a fiver from JTF.0 -
Is it possible to do all the adjustments internally so you don't have to repair the outside wall?
Can the waste pipe U bend section be raised by two inches or whatever is required to give a slight fall to the outside?0
