Hi Guys/Girls,
Just a quick question.....
Are cashback credit cards worth getting? I dont spend alot normally between £100-£200 max a month. I dont currently owe any money on the credit card.
Should i just stick with a normal credit card or go for something like a tesco credit card?
Thanks

It would all depend on your situation and like you say what you spend. My advice though, is even getting a little cashback is better than nothing. Also, I note Natwest are offering cashback which looks fairly ok and the Santander 1-2-3 account is great if you have various products and regular bills going out. So it would be worth your time investigating which card or account will best suit your needs0

it would mainly depend on the amount of cashback as well as the yearly/monthly cost of the card.
if you wont earn enough cashback to at least cover the fee then it doesn't really make much sense.
but if you do, then its essentially free money whenever you spend, so will be better than a standard card0 -
I would say definetly!
Normally get 1% on my main card every year. This equates to a free month's worth of petrol to me.0 -
I say you might as well. I have an Aqua card which gets 3% up to £100 per year; and plan to get something else with a higher limit on the cashback I can earn. If you're prepared to go through the hassle, you can pay just about all your bills on it every month, then pay it off right away with the cash you'd otherwise have used anyway. Ye I would think so.
I neither spend a great deal, but with my ASDA card.
I get 1% at ASDA, 0.5% elsewhere
In a regular month I get around £3.50 cashback so that is around £40 in my pocket at least, not adding on cost of christmas to come !
Also my Quidco account tops things off nicely, so double cashback !0
