My wedding budget

It does look fairly realistic. You've already been told about favours and transport, so you know about those. You've only included flowers for the wedding party - are you having any additional flowers in the venue?
What I would say is if you're going to keep that budget - make sure you get your quotes in writing, especially for the expensive items. Creeping budget are a nightmare and that's where most of my friends got caught out. These areas include:
Wedding dress alterations - often not budgeted for, check with your wedding dress shop
Accessories - these just keep creeping up, don't forget to realistically budget for your veil, shoes, garter, jewellery and makeup
Reception - make sure everything you think is actually included in your quote. My friends got caught out loads here.
Venue decorations - these can add up too.
You could save a bit by doing more stuff yourself. You could use an iPod and you'll save the £200 on a DJ!0 -

Well, we have made a provisional booking at a venue today. It comes in at budget and includes table plans, printed menu's, toastmaster, and fresh flower displays for all tables. They have a DJ that they reccomend and if you book him through them he is only £150, so that £50 saved is now going on favours. I've been looking at bits on ebay and currently they're working out at about £1 each for favours, so I've only got an extra £15 to find, which I think we should manage!
I'm loving all of this wedding stuff!0
