Perhaps this is overkill but I do read from the first unread one when I get back on here up to the most recent, then I use the comp email the next day (when I get a chance) to open all the new from yesterday threads & check that I entered them all, as I usually tend to miss some when they flip from page 1 to page 2 for example & I change pages at just the wrong time!
Just wish we knew why the email sometimes doesn't come :question:Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0 -

Does anyone know how the scratchcards work that offer you big prizes if you have 2 or 3 identical symbols on the card. What is the catch?
You don't have to pay an expensive phone call to get a claim number, you can get one by post, that's 30p. None of the prizes are so bad that you would be ripped off if they asked you to pay P&P.
Do they just want your name and address for marketing reasons and can they get out of giving you one of the prizes on the card, all of which seem great.:A0 -
Dont scratchcards cost £1 or £1.50 or £2 (genuine ones)0

Well I think for starters you're not meant to be a good money saver and carefully read the small print which tells you that you can send off by post for a claim number and so they make a lot of money off people who do phone the premium rate numbers. Kind of the same as these tv quiz call shows where you get free web entry, ive nearly got through a couple of times on there just by clicking on the web a few times which is no biggy!
However, one catch is that you will only ever (unless very very lucky) win the bottom prize which will be holiday vouchers. Now this is probably £250 discount vouchers meaning you need to spend out on the rest of the holiday.
If you play it well you could probably get yourself some reasonable things but look out for hidden things like only one way tickets, no transfers, forcing you to buy their insurance to go etc etc, I keep meaning to do one but never get the mags with them in anymore
Let me know how it goes, good luck and be careful0 -
This one is called 'The £1 million cash card' and they are free in certain magazines. Their website is www.purelycreative.com0

oh and you'll ALWAYS win on the last card of the set lol, to try and convince people they are lucky to have got the symbols! And you may get a prize code of Millionair1 if the top prize is a million pounds of yacht3 if the prize is a yaucht, doesnt mean you've won that at all though!!0

Hi, I am not very good with computers unless Im told how to do something, love entering the comps on here and would like to add some if I find any that are not already listed, how do I do this I know how to cut and paste info but how do you do that clicky/enter here thing? Any other advice on how to list a comp gratefully received
Thanks0 -
My bosses son just won on one of these. She sent off for the claim number by post (30 odd pence), then sent the claim form off by registered post £1 and had to pay £6.50 for insurance and postage.
Digital camera they won was worth about a tenner and that was the lowest prize for 2 symbols0
