Is there anyway of seeing which threads you've looked at and 'thanked' without actually going into that post again? I don't have as much time as I would like to look at this site and I can't remember which posts I've looked at unless I click on it. Any ideas anyone?

No I don't think so, you have to click on a thread to see if you have thanked :D

Someone should invent some way to see without clicking on it.. with all the new people bumping the threads recently I spend a lot of time clicking on posts that I've already seen... last night there were 2 pages of new posts and only 1 (post) of them was actually a new competition

Forgot to mention you can sort threads from the time they were posted, then you would know that you had entered all comps posted after a certain date.

However, when you log in, it reverts back to how it is now so might confuse you as you have to click a thread to see when it started.

If you entered comps using the "sort by thread start time method" I imagine you would have to stick to that way of doing it.

You might miss comps where the new answer is put on the same thread though.

    Hope that makes sense :D

    Hi everyone.

Not new to the site, as you can see, but new to comps. :)

Couple of questions from a newbie:-

    1. How many comps do you people enter each day?

    2. Do think it makes any difference at all if you click on yes to receiving their blurb/emails/newsletters?

Well welcome to the comping section - I think its the most friendly section of the forum now!

I enter as many as I have time to - after all the more you enter the more chances of winning. Though I only enter ones for things I would be able to make use of or give as presents

It shouldnt do but who knows what they do at the other end! Alot of the time I just say yes to the newsletters after all you can eitehr unsubscribe at a later date or after a while they go into the junk folder which I make sure I check every day for winning emails

    www.roboform.com

It fills your details in for you in one click:)
Unless of course it's a comp with the address all in one box.

I've been using the InFormEnter extension for Firefox available from the Firefox extensions page (free). It's pretty quick to use.

If anyone has used InFormEnter and now uses another extension they think is better, please let me know.
