As been pointed out on previous competition threads for holidays to Doha

It is illegal in Doha to stay in same hotel room if you are un-married couple.

It is illegal in Doha to stay in same hotel room if you are un-married couple.

    How rigidly is this enforced?
  • Totally, it is illegal, they will lock you up if they catch you flouting the law too.
  • Is the link working for you guys? It tells me "Expired website"

On booking.com website page for this particular hotel it states

"Please note that Qatari couples checking in to the same room must present a valid marriage certificate upon check-in as per Qatari law"

No mention of any restriction for tourists.

    Thanks
  • Got a high risk alert on this as well - seems a bit dodge.
  • I wonder if they would allow two females in a twin room? Hmmm.
