    Afternoon everyone.

Today is NSD # 6 for me as I had none over the weekend. I'm hoping I am all set now until Friday to get a few more...

  • I haven't had a no spend day today as I brought some sweets and a pen and rubber that looked like a lipstick for my cousins 6 year old bday Wednesday and I thought it wasn't fair that her sister had alot from me for her birthday and she would have only had 2 . Less arguments that way

Spendy day on grocery top-up today, but did my MSE bit by making a batch of mincemeat ready for those sweet little pies we have during the C festival. Also foraged a few more clumps of elderberries and made some more elderberry syrup, a herbal remedy for winter ailments.
Tomorrow, (provided Igor finishes knitting the decorative spider webs for the Halloween/Samhain bash) we will be off hunting down NSDs again.

(No, Igor, finish the spider webs first. Then think about your costume. It's "come dressed as your favourite apple", remember? And I think Hubert needs more than just two pairs of pink stilettos to dress up as a Pink Lady.)

And, no, Igor, a pink feather boa and a pair of big black "Barbara Cartland" false eyelashes do not a Pink Lady make. Think again.
