Rented property kitchen door removed

  • Thank you dimbo61. My friend has no intention of staying in the property and would leave now if he could due to the mould problem which they are not sorting out, he can't use his kitchen, so being served notice to quit will not be a problem. I don't want this to get into a battle, I just want him to live in a safe flat and don't want the LL to shirk his responsibilities if there should be a door.

    Your friend needs a smoke alarm or two NOW
    A heat alarm and CO alarm near the boiler would also be a good idea.
    Waiting for the LL/LA to buy and install could be TOO LATE so he/she needs to buy them.
    Take them with you when you move out so careful where you put them ( leave no holes in the walls )
    Can always be used in the next rental/ OWN HOME :-)
