Just a bog standard microfibre cloth has always worked well for my screen. They work especially well if you have an iPhone with an oleophobic coating.

As for laptop, any window/glass cleaner and cloth should be fine.

Agree with the initial suggestion for all those requirements - microfibre cloth plus de-ionised water (as used for car battery top-up, if we do that any more!).

One of the best is bog standard boots spectacles cleaner and a lint-free cloth :-)

Tap water + microfibre cloth is what I use on my iPad 2 and iPad 1 (both bought days after launch), and on my iPhone 4 though that has a screen protector. None of the screens have fallen off/exploded/got scratched/whatever yet - no need to buy expansive "magic solution" or similar.

Good old fashioned chamois leather cloth and a bit of elbow grease ^_~ couple of wipes and it's streak and fingerprint free.
