i checked my bank account yesterday to find Virgin media had taken a direct debit payment out of my account that i knew nothing about,Ive never given over my bank details to the company or signed any paper work, the bill is in my ex partners name & he doesnt even have a bank account,i rang the bank & they say it isn't their responsibility its virgins, rang virgin & they say it isnt theirs either & the bank should make an idemnity payment, rang the bank again but am just getting the brush off!
who should i be holding responsible? i think its the banks as surely they are meant to safeguard my money?

The bank should refund the money if the money has been taken without your permission.
How Virgin took money without any bank details is a mystery to me though.Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0
