Tips to stop stressing?

We have gone sale agreed on our dream forever home. Mortgage offer sorted, survey done, now waiting on the solicitors to do their stuff. Most likely a few more weeks to wait and I'm struggling with the stress of not being able to do anything, also have a fear that something will go wrong or seller will back out.
Any tips as to how to get through the next few weeks without a nervous breakdown?

Waiting for solicitors is more stressful than watching paint dry! Don't just sit there and assume it is happening because is probably isn't; you need to keep hassling them and persuade the vendors to hassle their's.0 -
Mogadon?
Failing that, Tai Chi.0 -
Sellers do back out. So do Buyers.
Others come along, see a nice property under offer and offer higher.
I've had all the above, but there was nothing I could have done anyway. I survived.
The thing that still upsets me is where I fouled-up, by not buying a house that could have been a great forever home. It was all my fault.
Stop worrying about stuff you can't control and look to your own actions.0 -
Sex, drink, pills: Or all 3.
Some deals come off, others don't...
It's only a house not the safety of your family or your health.
Cheers!0 -

I don't want to wish loss of this house on you, but if you did lose it, you would be a lot more able to cope with the next purchase. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -
Its hard, but i sent lots of e mails to solicitors and estate agent to try and hurry things along and find out whats going on.You will get through it and will survive.Patience helps.I dont have much though!0

if you have no patience and need to micro manage things in everyday life , then you have just consigned your self to many many weeks of stressNever, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.0
