to get some motivation going and being so close to that dreaded C word, why don't we up the thread a bit more.

For those of you with a signature, why not put your number in your signature, so something like proud member of the Make £10 a day challenge, challenger number x or xx.

Or abbreviate it a bit! :rotfl: and put challenger number x or xx for £10 a day

Oooh I like that idea! Especially because I'm number 2 on the list and I've never been than high up before :rotfl:. And 2 is my lucky number :D Xx

Abbreviations - a list of useful abbreviations if there are any we say you don't understand, please let us know and I will update this post.

How to add a signature - at the top of the page, you will see a green toolbar, click on User CP, on the left hand side, scroll down, until you see Edit Signature. You can then type in your signature, but you are limited by number of lines and characters, but it will tell you if it is too long. Try to make the font smaller usually helps. You can edit colours and add smileys too.

Edit Avatar - if you want a nice picture like mine :D do the same as above, USER CP, then scroll down to edit Avatar. There are size restrictions, but you can have most things you like. Just be careful if you are using google images they are free images and not patented/copyrighted.

Private Message - you can send someone a PM (Private message) again using User CP (Control Panel). It is on the left hand side. You need to have the right user name otherwise it will go to the wrong person. To find out if you have messages, look at the top of the page, where it says private messages, (PMs) and there will be a number in bold if you have any unread. You can subscribe to email so you receive them in your email too, which is useful for reading without logging into MSE. But to reply you do need to log in.

Roadkill - roadkill is money found abandoned with no owner, on the streets, in washing machines, in the pockets of beloved's clothes when you are about to put them into the washing machine, :rotfl:, on the floor of your car, etc.

Hello! Please sign me up for......£15 a day.

I'd like to have an extra £1,000 for Florida/Christmas as we get back 12 days before Christmas. I'm taking £200 from the £350-odd made in September towards this, so it works out as £15 per day - eep.

    I like to make money

Yes, people are doing it. Have a read through last month's thread for inspiration.

Used to do this a few years ago, then I got a better paid job & took on more voluntary stuff and was struggling time wise, I stopped doing some of the things I did but I've kept on doing others.

Decided it's now time to get back on board.

£10 a day for me please
