6 year anniversary - Make £10 a day Challenge September 2013 - everybody welcome

Options
:hello: and welcome to all newbies and regulars.

This is the 6 year anniversary of this very special challenge, originally started by Batgirl :A. And in the 6 years has made a lot of people debtfree.

Happy anniversary to the thread.

This is the 73rd month of this challenge, which was first started by Batgirl, in September 2007 Thanks to Batgirl for starting it, Nat21luv, Monkeynut, Sweetpeas, Purpleroses, JesaRose and MizMir for keeping the thread going.

I know this first post is long, but please read as it give tips on how this challenge works.

If you're new to the challenge don't be scared - here's how it works:

The aim of this challenge is to make £10 extra a day everyday for the month. A lot of people think this is impossible but it can and has been done (and in some cases some show offs have even doubled or tripled the monthly challenge).

If you feel £10 is too much why not start at £5 or if you're brave join those who aim for £20 a day! Anything extra you make is great so set whatever target you think you can manage.

The idea is that everyone posts how they are making extra money and these shared ideas help all of us to learn new ways to help cut debt or earn/save money.

What cannot be added: wages from your main job
What can be added: overtime at work, income from a 2nd job, daily clicks, interest, vouchers, mystery shopping...the list is endless.

Hey hello and thank you Aesop for the thread.

I joined these forums some months ago now and when I first saw this thread I thought it looked brilliant but didn't think in a million years I would be able to join in. After taking part for 3 months now I can see the effect it can have, it has brought me a lot of inspiration and discipline. How fabulous to have helped so many people over those years.

I'd like to be put down for £10 a day please, I'm hoping that won't be too difficult with eBay sales, car boot takings and cashback expected already plus other bits and bobs.

Thanks again, sorry if I go on a bit x

Mrs Cautious you don't go on. It is lovely to hear about your trip abroad and how much good it did, and all the lovely fundraising you did for it too.

It is great to read the thread has helped you too. I will find Batgirl and see if I can get her to come and say happy anniversary seeing as she started the thread. :D
