This is a brief synopsis on how to make money - I say part 1 as I will probably have to stop and come back later.

    1. Check for old mobile phones, not too OLD  otherwise they probably won't recycle. Put the details into this and hopefully you will earn some pennies. I have a phone today to send off, the last of my old phones.

    2. any old clothes that you no longer wear/family no longer wear/etc and if in good condition, try selling on gumtree/facebook selling page/netmums,mumsnet, ebay, etc

Failing that try taking to a cash4clothes type of place and see what you can get for them.

    3. Have old DVDS, CDS, Books no longer going to watch, listen, read? try getting them valued - links on first post, also try musicmagpie and try CEX stores (depending on age of DVD/CD) and get some dosh for them.

    4. Do you have a hobby that can make you money? do you knit, craft, make cards? write blogs? can proofread? get selling your items on etsy/folksy/ebay/facebook selling pages, see first post for links and advice. Get yourself out there making money!

    5. Have a smartphone? Android or iPhone? Read second post for tips on apps to install to make money.

    6. Reclaim money! - have you been on a flight that was delayed? Have you had loans/credit cards? Check for PPI claims. Wear a uniform to work? Claim back for washing it.

    7. Do you have tesco club cards? check on line if you have any vouchers outstanding that you have not spent.

    8. Reclaim forgotten cash we had this one as a challenge one month. Someone discovered an old account they had forgotten about :D

    9. Check your Council Tax Band. Is it correct? Are you overpaying?

    10. check if you are entitled to an energy grant

    11. Check if you qualify for a grant

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/family/grants-low-income

    12. Have arrears with Utilities? You may be able to get help from your local supplier.

    13. Cut your water bills

    14. Are you paying for your antivirus? is it due to expire, install free antivirus
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/free-anti-virus-software

    15. Don't buy new stuff, check Freecycle and Freegle first and Facebook selling pages/netmums

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/freecycle

    16. Give monthly meter readings to your gas and electricity company, so you are not being given guesstimated bills but accurate bills.

    17. Do you need the house phone, if you have mobiles? If not, cancel it, save money.

    18. Pay for your tv licence by direct debit.

    19. Check the interest on your accounts, if it is not paying much, change your account!

Thanks all for kind messages and to all you poorly people, much love and hugs xx

We won't talk about how today went because I'm a lady and don't swear on boards (I will be doing a full write-up at some point on my opinion on certain staff in certain positions and how horrible they can be. This wasn't to us thankfully but some very unprofessional people encountered today). 4-6 weeks until we hear anything, ho ho ho.

On the upside we came home to another £3 from p1necone and some vouchers for free fish fingers and money off from Mr T (I'll add the when I use them).
