Just checked and I have £5.50 cashback from ClickSnap - they seem to pay very quickly which came as a nice surprise. Aesop, it's not just you - that does seem a little fraught with danger, especially as there's a £125 charge after a year. I know they're saying use it for what you would normally spend anyway, but I think quite a bit of my current financial issues came from thinking I was being 'clever' in how I used deals, then letting it get out of hand (i.e. matched betting, cashback from bingo sites, etc) so I'm now very wary of these sort of deals and worry people could get caught out.

I wouldn't qualify for it anyway, but if you are not so savvy, you may think ooh sounds good. But it is NOT a credit card, you have to pay all the money back on the due date. Ok, it is spread out over 3 months, but you are looking at spending approximately £667 over three months! I know people are on grocery challenges and feed the family for less than £100 a month challenge, etc. So this kind of advert really is NOT MSE Martin!

Hello all, please could I be put down for the £10 again this month.

I didn't do very well with September but October has got off to a flying start - received £60 cashback for our energy switch, before the switch has even gone through! And should see another £30 from Martin's Energy Club on top of that.

Also received £32 in interest on a Nationwide ISA which I forgot was going to pay some interest at the end of Sep (not withdrawing it though) and £32 on our Nationwide Flex accounts. And £10 reward from Halifax. I have moved those to our mortgage overpayment pot.

Hope it continues for the rest of the month, but somehow doubt it! :rotfl:

    Good luck everyone

Yay, just had my first win for October - a £25 Sainsbury's voucher. I'm not counting it in this challenge because it will be going aside towards the £400 Kenwood K-mix that I want to buy. But yay.
    I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder

    Hi everyone,
Sorry for my long absence, been so utterly down with being so in debt, it is spiralling and we're at a point of reaching our very limits, so the head is out of the sand!

I have a few bits to sell and when I started sorting through them I remembered these threads! So here I am,
Can I please be put down for £10 a day please?

Made £5 today, and have applied for a job so here's to the start of getting out of this hole...

so sorry to hear you have been feeling down Redouble :(

have you started a diary on the DFW Diaries board? they are very helpful when you complete a SOA and can offer advise on things you maybe able to cut back on, etc.

Have you looked at the Old Style Board and grocery challenge? About cooking more from basics and building a store cupboard. The money saved can then be thrown at your debt.

Have you spoken to Step Change? I have heard very good things about them and they are very helpful.

    Hugs x
