I've got some vouchers to use and going up to London in November.
Is there a pizza express within walking distance of the London Eye. I've looked at PE website but i'm unclear where their restaurants are in relation to the Eye.
Google says there is one on the south bank, but i can't see that on their site, so wondering if that one closed.
Thanks.

South Bank is right by the London Eye, so yes it's close. I walk round there regularly but haven't seen it.0

Enter postcode of SE1 8YP
this is a link to a map of it on their website (number 1 is very near jubilee gardens/London eye)I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Be a bit careful if you plan on using vouchers as they sometimes say "not valid in Southbank"...
An alternative (not too far...) is the Shad Thames one (near tower bridge) - we prefer this one as it also tends to be a bit quieter and always takes voucher codes.0 -
The restaurant on Belverede Road is definitely open as I've eaten there a number of times.
Check whether the Gourmet Pizza at Gabriel's Wharf is part of the Pizza Express Group as I have a feeling it is: 020 7928 3188. It's a lovely site right on the riverbank with outside seating.0 -
The South Bank Pizza Express is definitely within walking distance and is a really nice branch. I have used vouchers there before, but definitely worth phoning to check.0

South Bank one was still open a few months ago, but I agree with others who have said it is very busy.Current debt: M&S £0(£2K) , Tesco £0 (£1.5K), Car loan 6K (paid off!) Barclaycard £1.5K (interest free for 18 months)0

Thanks all for your replies, most useful. I will certainly give them a call. Sorry for my delay in replying, the thread must have dropped off the recent pages overnight and then I completely forgot about it until today.
Many thanks again.0 -
Have called the southbank one and yes they do take Tesco Vouchers and i wouldnt need to book for the time we would be aiming for.
Getting excited now, son knows about the science museum and pizza express for dinner, but neither of them know about The London Eye that I just so happen to have booked!!!! Everytime it comes on the tv or is seen somewhere, they comment on how they wish they could go one day.0
