Dubai & Mauritius Must See's & Emirates question.

Hi, I have a week in Mauritius & 3 nights in Dubai coming up. We are in the Belle Mare part of the island. Does anybody have a list of things they think you must see there?
Also recommended places for shopping in Dubai. I've heard the Emirates Mall is better than the Dubai Mall.
Also I'm trying to cut down on my hand luggage. - I've not flown with Emirates before. Do they provide a toothbrush and toothpaste like Virgin?

Dubai Mall is the better one imo, but for cheaper things you will want Deira city mall.

Yes Emirates provide an amenity pack.
