Best bank for online use

I'm after a new bank that offers a great online experience. I've been with Smile for a few years and their online interface is pretty poor. I like to be able to bank on the move and Smile offer pretty poor options. Amazing really considering they are an internet only bank!
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

I really like the Lloyds / Halifax online interfaces.
I also have a FD account and find their online site a nightmare.0 -
All the banks with decent accounts also have good online banking sites and good apps.
Pick from Santander, Nationwide, Halifax, TSB, Bank of Scotland or Lloyds. I'd say there's little between them in terms of online/mobile banking facilities (people will have preferences but it's probably mainly what they are used to) so just pick based on the product, i.e. interest rate.0 -
If you have access to Which? they've published a report this week on the security of internet banking. RBS/Natwest came top with Santander at the bottom. (First Direct scored lower but have since changed their security systems.0

I take these Which reports with a large pinch of salt ... they are very subjective and put massive emphasis on the use of card readers.
Essentially, it's the bank's money that's at risk, not yours. Extra security is there to protect them, not you.
Anyway, for new payments to be set up from a Santander account, the fraudster would need to have your mobile phone...not very likely.0 -
Barclays has great online and mobile banking but poor savings products0

I have access to the Which website and can't find any mention of this report. Can you tell me where it is?

For comparison, the last one they did is in the archive:

Thank you, but all I get when I click on that link is 'Sorry, the page you requested is currently unavailable due to technical difficulties.'. Maybe it's not available since you copied the link while you were logged in. Can you tell me where to click from the main page?
