I tried to search forum for tv but I apparently need three characters to do a search
Anyway, our TV has stopped workig, tried changing the plug fuse so I think it must be the internal fuse - are these easy to repair or should I just get a new TV?
We got the current one second hand it's a 28" for £40 but I'm annoyed it stopped working after just a few weeks.
I've no idea where to look for a TV, normally I search on this forum but can't even do that! Hope someone can help, thanks

Blackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan.
Baldrick: Is it as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?
Blackadder: Yes it is.
Baldrick: Hmm... that's cunning.

here's a thread on hd ready ones.

personally i don't care if mine is hd or not so long as its got integrated digital. unfortunately for me most of the good buys in these seem to be bigger screens (32" etc) and I just want a small one (20").
do you need a long guarantee? then john lewis (don't forget discounts and points sites) gives a 5 year guarantee and price matches.
if you think they are pretty robust and won't break there are good buys all the time from the electrical shops on the web.
You can still get conventional sets for much less. I looked for good sound quality (look for speaker wattage) more than picture (look for resolution ratios)
I saw a really old set(big by 15 years ago standards) at my local charity shop today for £10...
so i guess you must cut your cloth to suit yourself...0 -
Thanks, I heard or saw on a thread somewhere that Dixons/Currys were matching prices, even internet pricesBlackadder: Baldrick, I have a very, very, very cunning plan.
