You need an Air Print enabled printer to print directly from your iPhone or iPad.0

Alternatively you can buy any printer your heart desires and connect it to an Airport Express (costs £79).What will your verse be?

It doesn't have to be Airprint compatible or even wireless to work with the Airport Express. You connect the printer to an Airport Express using a cable and your print commands get sent to the printer via the Airport Express.
The obvious problem is the additional expense, but Airprint printers are more expensive anyway.
If you have an Apple base station (Airport Extreme/Express) then your Airport Express can also extend the range of your WiFi, but if you have some other router it can only be used in 'client mode' which means it can be used for Airplay/Airprint but not much else. What will your verse be?
