Stuck with British gas Debt

I moved into my property just over a year ago and there were normal gas and electric meters here. I phoned up british gas who was my supplier before hand for both gas and electric and explained that I needed prey pay meters as I didn't have the income to pay large sums when the bills came through. the came over within days to change my electric into a prepay meter but it took them over a month to change my gas into a prepay which left me with debt because I was obviously using gas. the debt was £27 then because they sent me a letter it jumped up to £49. then I left it for a while because I had other personal issues to deal with at the time. and when I got back in contact with them to set up a payment plan they told me the debt was £138. im not sure how it got that high and the person I spoke to about it just confused me even more. they said the lowest they would take is £7 a week from my prepay gas meter on a Thursday. I agreed as I wasn't sure what else I could do. but I have really struggled and they have been taking £7 off sometimes EVERYDAY. its made things really difficult for me and now I hardly use gas because I cant afford to pay the debt repayments and gas for my house. I have a 2 year old little girl who I soley provide for. any ideas on what to do because im stuck and really don't know what to do. thanks in advance

Not much you can do, but maybe ask for the charge to be removedDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Tell them your issues and be persistent, they have the power to give good will payments and void charges.0
