Good morning all!
I had a diary before but it's lost somewhere amongst all the other diaries
But I'm back with a positive attitude ready to clear up my debts and start saving.
Compared to quite a few others I don't have much to pay off but it's still getting to me and if I get it out in the open i'll work a bit harder to pay it off.
Soo...a bit about me: I'm 23, I live in London with my parents, work full time as a receptionist (not earning very much)
My real problem is my spending, I spend so much money unnecessarily, I should have a lot of saving but I don't, I buy on impulse knowing I'll get paid the following Friday.
I'm going to phone the debt agency I'm paying off to find out how much I owe so I can give my self a DFD and hopefully pay off extra towards it.
I've totally babbled on not exactly saying much...so feel free to ask any questions or tell me what to do next, I'm all ears

Plan for today:
Find out how much I actually owe
List phone cases on eBay
Find other things around the house suitable to sell
My overall plan is to stop buying things on eBay and pay off debts with the profits I make on eBay, even if it's 99p.2019 wins: Nothing yet

Right! I just got off the phone to Love Film and cancelled my subscription for an account I've had since February but never ever used so that's a saving of £4.99 a month.
I also cancelled my Graze box because I've got lots of snacks I haven't eaten and they're littering my cupboards so until I've eaten them all I won't be reordering them. That's £3.79 a week saved!
I'm going to up my standing order for my debt payments to £50 a week

I just tried to find out how much I owe...the debt recovery agency isn't open on weekends
I don't think anyone has ever been so eager to find out what their debts are!
I'm trying to find some motivation to actually get up off of the sofa instead of sitting on the sofa feeling sorry for myself

Nothing wrong with sitting on the sofa......it costs nothing!
Hi Cupcake and very best of luck to you. If you have nothing else to do, reading some of the diaries and threads on here is great for the motivation. You might even find a useful way to bring in some extra cash to hit those debts a bit faster.

Sold a CD on eBay for £7.30 today so I'm going to round it up to £10 and pay that towards my debt.
It just dawned on me that I have a studen loan to pay off
I'm going to find the letter with the full amount tonight and irk out how to tackle that instead of waiting until I earn enough for them to start taking payments from me.
My plan for tonight is:-
Find student loan letter
Prep lunch for tomorrow
Sort out gym gear for the week so I have no excuse but to go
Wash some clothes and iron
Have a poke around for some things to put on eBay (I'm addicted to selling instead of buying)
