I have a FB friend who enters for anything and everything and I am sure he/she does not realise what they are doing as they occasionally have the little rant about people entering for stuff they do no needI have seen like and shares for this person for horse blankets, cat food, baby stuff and wedding stationery and I know for a fact they do not have pets, are married and no children in their family! I am often so tempted to ask why on earth they are sharing these comps but would never bring myself to do that. I think for some people they just have to win no matter what the prize is and then boast "5 wins today". Yeah, 5 wins of absolute rubbish that you can never use!
Personally, I would rather invest my valuable and little time I have available for comps in entering for prizes I want and will use.
Rofl ^ I sometimes think that when I read the I won section! I've had the odd accidental win myself but there are so many prizes of some real tat. I find it hard to find things I really want in whole pages sometimes.0 -
She was in the Daily Mirror as well, a few days later, but with a different set of photos:
I wonder where we are going to see her next?Being on incapacity benefit doesn't seem to have held her back.

It's TOTALLY possible to get that amount. I've been comping since Feb 2012 and I've won about £25k worth of prizes, and that's in less than two years! I've never won an ITV one or anything, and the only cash prize is the one I won a couple of days ago, so it's purely from entering comps on here (I don't do dailies, cba
)
I've become a bit more selective now, as it does get a bit blah sometimes. Plus our house now looks ridiculously flash (I'm only 27, newlywed with no kids yet!) with stuff my parents don't even have - like a £1200 coffee machine which we're almost too scared to useBut it is nice to be able to give my family stuff at random
No offense to the lady, but her pictures and items do seem a bit, well, naff! Sorry!!
There's just nothing particularly state of the art or new looking at all there. Granted, a lot of this would have been won years ago, so would have been so at that time, but I've already upgraded my kettle, for example, twice since I started comping, but her one looks ancient! I would never do this now, we'd be begging to get robbed!!
And a lot of that stuff turns up in all the pictures. The main living room one has all the kitchen stuff in it!!Make £2019 in 2019 No 153 - £4517.17/£20190 -
Maybe she sold all the best stuff to pay for her bigger house?
lol - a £1200 coffee machine rablovesroo! :eek:0 -

If they want to sell their wins then it's their business and not unscrupulous at all in my opinion, you've no right to judge, as it's their prize and they put the time and effort into winning it. Live and let live:oMAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR0 -
The 'get a life' comments always amuse me.
It is a sad indication of society where people feel the need to make catty, nasty, spiteful comments towards others, where it is not deserved.Dear Lord, I am calling upon you today for your divine guidance and help. I am in crisis and need a supporting hand to keep me on the right and just path. My mind is troubled but I will strive to keep it set on you, as your infinite wisdom will show me the way to a just and right resolution. Amen.0 -

Totally agree - I too feel amused when people say 'get a life' to compers - indicating that they feel compers are all unemployed layabouts with nothing else to do. It is just jealousy of course :T:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

Agree with your comments.
If I am correct though, she posted on there to say that the nappies were given to her Goddaughter.missusmonty wrote:The prizes I have won over 25 years that I can’t use myself go to friends and family including holidays for free!
