homebase offers

hi everyone not sure if this is the right place to do this as new but i was wondering if anyone had any input as to wether this is allowed to be done.i saw a wardrobe on offer in homebase and then received an email saying they had 155 off this weekend with a code and that all current offers included aswell as 15% off.i waited up to midnight where the wardrobe was still on offer so that i could get me code in quick and order the wardrobe only to find that they had taken the offer off at midnight when the 15% voucher kicked in??? to me thats not including current offers and is misleading.thanks in advance for your thoughts on this x:)

Its not misleading as its not the only offer they have in place, many different offers are on instore during the offer. It just so happens that the offer you looked at before your voucher became valid has ended.

There is no problem doing what they have done.

If you're looking for that little bit extra off then go through the cashback sites for around 3%.

Also if you can get a Homebase receipt and do a feedback on line they will send you a code for £5 off when you spend £50.
  • hi thanks for that its just annoying as the offer wasnt down to end and as they are tied with argos and argos still have it at the offer price just thought it was a bit naughty and unfair to customers who were looking to buy it ah well a customer lost x
  • Argos and Homebase are part of the same group but their offers don't always coincide - when i'm planning to buy something from one I always check the price at the other and they have been different several times.

They can also change or withdraw offers any time they like - and it sounds like they withdrew the offer for the wardrobe at the same time as the 15% off went live (it's not unusual for offers to change at midnight, with old offers being withdrawn and new ones added), so it was no longer a current offer.
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

Why not try in the Discount Codes and Vouchers section?
