I am the same, mostly buy second hand games but too broke my rule with GTA, and will again with a few more over the next few months.
Rules are made to be broken arent they:)0 -

Might be because it takes a fair while for the true triple-A quality releases to drop to under £20 - but I agree it was worth the splurge for GTA, even if I just finished all the missions yesterday!Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0 -
Hi I struggle to justify paying near enough £50 quid on a new game ie Fifa 14 so i tend to be a year behind and will buy Fifa 13 2nd hand from game (which is £6.99 at present) and will play that as there are plenty of people who still play that game online so I still get to create a decent ultimate team and get the joy of beating actual people on line but without spending a fortune.
Just wondering if other people stick with older versions a wee bit longer and if they maybe want to play =p
Quite a lot TBH Especially with single player only games, or where I know wont game online at all with it.
There's other ways as well - HUKD is an excellent site for highlighting bargains and often worth snapping up a game if it is priced low and putting it on the shelf for later.
Just be careful that some games don't age as well as others,
Oblivion (ElderScrollsIV) is still a good RPG and worth its £££, another RPG that came out after that though is Beyond - Two Souls and horrifically dated.0 -

That should wave goodbye to a large number of hours.0 -
GTA V was worth buying new at release I think. GTA IV released in April 2008, so it's not like CoD with it's yearly installment.
We'll get our money's worth out of GTA V lol!0 -

Same with me, finished the missions very easily. Now just going around and buying things and investing in the stock market!0 -
I'll 'break' the bank for a game I really want ie: GTA V.
As for FIFA's and the like....I packed that in about 3 years ago. As has been mentioned before, once you miss the initial surge, you've had it.0 -
I used to get Fifa every other year 08,10,12. I got 13 though because I saw a good deal. I don't think I will get 14.Come on you Irons0

Have you managed to do ALL the side missions and random events too? That takes up alot of time I am finding. Only seem to be able to find 18/20 Strangers and Freaks (and thats including the ridiculously long Epsilon missions. No One I Think Is In My Tree.:cool:0
