Bank statement ddebit to AVIVA RCPTS ACCOUN

Would anyone know what this could be for?

I don't believe I hold any sort of product or service with AVIVA.

  • Aviva (formerly Norwich Union) RCPTS - probably means receipts account for premiums collected.

If you don't recognise it at all I would suggest ringing them quoting the reference and see what they say it is. Sometimes it will be fairly easy to decipher policies Motor may have MOT as a prefix Home insurance HOM etc.

It sounds like you have a product of some kind with an Aviva Group company.

List your insurance product providers and we'll tell you if any are.

Sorry all, for wasting your time. I've realised this is my Home Insurance policy premium. Slightly embarrassing!

Better to check than not to have checked until a year has past and you find each month payment has been taken.
