Made the mistake of asking a claims company to reclaim our PPI, saw this web site too late!!

They are extremely slow and they keep sending paperwork asking for more information as the banks etc concerned have requested this. Can I cancel my existing contracts with them and pursue myself as I seem to be doing all the work anyway?

Any Suggestions please?

you can cancel, but expect to pay a [MoJ suggestion] reasonable fee for what they've already done, which is basically not a lot.

If the cost fo the fee outweights any potential PPI complaint, then don't cancel. It the PPI complaint is much more and a probable success, cancel.

How do I find out how much I'm owed if they are doing the work?

do you have any of your own documents? credit card statements?

it's also worth remembering you're not 'owed' anything. You'll only get something back if your complaints are upheld.
