Recommended Toilet/Shower Brands?

I was wondering if people had any specific experiences/recommendations regarding toilets and showers? We are renovating the bathroom and I am conscious that these are the most 'functional' parts.

I had a Roca toilet put in last time but the flush (dual button on top) gave up a couple of years in and was endless trouble/fiddling. The cistern was also difficult to access so adjusting it was a massive pain. Would rather not have all that hassle again

Make sure your new shower tray has upstands on all sides to reduce risk of leakage.

Thanks v much for the advice - sorry, I should have clarified: I meant just the shower system - it's going over a bath.

You will never regret buying Grohe or Hansgrohe. Just check the water pressure and you will get many years of service.

Sanitary products - Duravit, Laufen or Villeroy Boch and if its on a frame Geberit.
