Compensation due to BT line down.

So few facts, this happened back in July but I only just found out.
Our BT line was down, and my parents had to resort to using my younger sisters phone to make calls, as she was home for this period. The line was down approximately 3-5 days. In this period a bill nearing £100 was accrued on my sisters phone. I believe BT have reimbursed for the days it was down, this was after many false indications of when the line would be up and running.

My question is, is there anything we can do? :(

No you can't claim consequential loss. There is no SLA on a residential line, so all you will get is credit for the downtime.
3-5 days for an OR repair is actually very good.
But how did they manage to run up £100 of calls in 3-5 days?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Not a chance - the bill rebate is also full and final settlement of the event complained of.
