I have a card from Barclaycard and Halifax and my 0% offer has ended on one the halifax and so wanted to apply for the barclaycard 28 month offer on at the moment
i understand i can shift the debt from halifax but am i allowed tgo apply for a card if i already have one with them- if so then i guess i need to look for the next best deal that is not on barclaycard or halifax?

In theory there is nothing to stop you holding multiple cards from the same provider (at one point I had 3 AmEx cards) though some providers themselves may stop you.
To the best of my knowledge Barclarycard dont have an issue with you having multiple cards0 -
Ok thanks - I realised I already have the exact same barclaycard - barclaycard platinum - can I still apply for this or does it have to be a different type of card from the same company?0

Even if you are given an additional Barclaycard, be aware, that your credit limit (maybe with a slight increase) might well be spread over both cards. For example, you have a card with 6k limit. This might be decreased to 3k and on the new card you will be given a limit of 4k.
The chances that, to the existing limit, the new card will have another limit of 6k (or more) are quite slim indeed.0 -
Could anybody who currently hold several Barclaycard (Visa) credit cards explain how it looks online (on your account)? Or should you register separate online accounts for each CC?0
