I will be switching to ebico to not give my money to british gas and they get energy from fracking, if you are against fracking its worth switching.
40% oppose fracking
... but 98% of us buy it.
google unfrack me, all the green companies and ebico and coop do not support it

I would switch to a company that 'gives a frak' about me as a customer.
As for Pneumatic fracturing, it doesn't really bother me.0 -
There are two other categories missing,
"Yes I support fracking but I don't get my energy from fracking" and "Yes I support fracking and I'm not sure if I get my energy from fracking".
There's also a possible third "I'm not bothered about fracking and I don't really care where my energy comes from as long as I get some"
Without those the survey is skewed towards those that don't support fracking and doesn't allow it to give a true picture of people's attitudes.
That's the problem with most polls, the questions are skewed to obtain the results that the pollster is looking forNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0 -
Slightly incorrect surely. As far as I know only the Americans are actually producing energy from fracking, and there is as yet no active production beyond exploration in the UK (and even then I'm not sure anything is active since the issues in Morecambe Bay).
British Gas own a fracking exploring company but that's not the same as them getting energy from fracking - yet!Adventure before Dementia!0 -

No there are way more countries making energy from fracking than just the americans, pretty sure canada and oz at least are to.WestonDave wrote: »Slightly incorrect surely. They restarted fracking in the uk this year. If they are investing money in exploring fracking then they are fracking imo.0 -

Please let us know how Ebico will extract non-fracked gas from the mixture in the supply pipes. Perhaps they will set up their own gas grid?
Ditto, how do we refuse to have Nuclear generated electricity supplied to our houses?
P.S.
Where to BG get their 'fracked' gas from?0 -
Couldnt care less as long as I get energy.0
