I'm constantly shocked by how many people lose their certificates. I still have all mine from the 1970s/1980s!!

I lost my O & A level certificates in a house fire a few years back. The only certificates that I now have are my degrees and profession qualifications which were in my office desk at the time of the fire. I was not even able to get a statement of results as the records could not be found.

Same here! I have just today received an email from my old school with contact info for the possible exam boards but whether or nor I have any joy obtaining proof of my GCSE and A level results remains to be seen.

Lesson to be learned for others here, is scan your certificates and store them somewhere on the net. Even if somebody didn't accept a print of your scan, you will at least have a record of the awarding body to make getting a copy of them easier.
