Court case - what happens if it goes wrong??

I was involved in an accident which I was not at fault, it's now going to court. The court proceedings will also include the hire car charges.
What will the rental car company do if the court doesn't agree with the rental charges? Will they come after me, or even worse get a debt management company on the case?
Just getting a bit worried about all the legal proceedings.
Thanks for your help

If the court rules against you then you either pay up or the other party will seek to recover the amount from you.
Are not your insurers dealing with this for you?No free lunch, and no free laptop

Yeah my insurance company are dealing with this and have instructed their solicitors to start legal proceedings with my help. The third party have admitted liability but are now refusing to pay, therefore my insurers want court actions to recover their costs.0

so long as no act or omission on your behalf leads to a reduction in the hire charges, you will be OK.0

For the hire charges, read the contract you signed to get the credit hire (ideally this should have been done before signing).
Almost all hirers absorb the costs themselves unless there has been omissions by you. A couple charge a small fee for insurance against this. A tiny number look to the hirer to reimburse.0 -
Enterprise? They said they wouldn't look for me for payment, but could they pass me over to a debt recovery firm?0

Only if the reasons for them not making a substantive recovery of their hire charges is down to you causing delay with the claim or not needing to hire a car for the duration you had one, or at all.0
