Tomtom live services - Can anyone help?
I am considering upgrading my tomtom to one of the new go live models, probably the 820 or 825. Having been on to the tomtom website to check about phone compatibility, I am still none the wiser.
It does not list my phone in the compatibility list but then again it doesn't seem to list many smartphones full stop. I am not bothered about answering or making calls via the Tomtom, just being able to connect to the live traffic service.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (GTI9195), I can use my phone to tether other devices, so I think it should be okay but Idon't want to go out and spend the best part of £150 to then find I can't use the live traffic service.
So if anyone can help me out that has a bit of knowledge in these things it would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Going by the TomTom website it looks like you don't need to connect a phone to a Go Live device to use this feature? How does LIVE Services work?
TomTom LIVE services are 'live connected' services.
This means that information and updates for each service - such as the latest traffic information, or weather forecasts - are sent directly to the SIM card of your TomTom device. So you don't need to activate anything and don't need to connect a mobile phone to your navigation device. Just get on the road, and your device does the rest.0 -
I bought one of these for my TomTom :

Works really well especially on motorways - saved me countless hours of sitting in traffic jams.0 -
