Inclusive Phone Packages

Can somebody please tell, apart from TalkTalk & Plusnet, which phone/broadband packages include calls to overseas (Australia). I don't want TV - just phone & broadband.

TIA

You don't say your provider but, assuming it's BT, calls to Australia are available via a number of providers for ½p, 1p or 2p per minute - why worry about getting them included in your calls package?

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

They're not inclusive with Plusnet. They're part of the Anytime International 300 Plan, which costs £6 per month.

I thnk the OP meant to say, which company 'offers', not includes.

My Plusnet bill says that I have Plusnet Value at £6.49; then Call Plan £6.00; Caller Display .99p; then Talk Anytime International 300 Line Rent charge 0.00.

I get 300 minutes a month included in my package, and my total payment is therefore £13.48.

I paid my line rental up front for 12 months but it's gone/going up from my anniversary date in January when it'll work out to around £11.50 pm. Talktalks Line Rental Saver still works out to £9.50 pm., but I don't want to go back to TT - even if I could work out what their charges are!

I shall probably stay with PN as I like being able to contact them so easily - I've no complaints about customer service at PN, just the fact that it's going to cost me more come January.

You can call Australia for 5p PER CALL from most landlines without the need for a calls package via TopUpNow.

    http://topupnow.co.uk/index2.php

A £1.50 premium rate call will pay for 30 calls via a freephone number to Australia.
    (0p/minute plus 5p connection fee)
