wasn't a postal mishap - my address had changed on the banks system....

Come on.....spit it out.....isn't that the issue, why you make that mountain out of a mole hill:

"How much compensation should I get?" :D

  • got a letter from the bank. i had asked them to explain why they changed my address without my authorisation - their answer "likely to have happened at the time of opening NEW joint account" ....i would have thought they would know when/how by checking system logs....

i had also asked if security had been compromised - they didn't answer this question but have offered to open another current account for me to use instead of existing.....

they offered no apology but offered £250 goodwill gesture?

I get the feeling they haven't even looked into this properly. I have written back insisting they answer my questions
