Are these tradesmen's rates fair?

Hi
I'm considering using a multi-discipline building company for some work in a property in south Herts (just outside the M25 area).
Their painter/decorators cost £15 per hour, carpenters £18 per hour and electricians £20 per hour.
Are these rates fair?

They are on par. Don't let them quote on hourly or even daily rate though. Thats just a licence to spin the job out. Get a quote (not an estimate) for each job so its at their risk not yours.

Sounds fair. The daily rate is 8hrs is about £1500
