Had a verbal warning at work and been offered a new job will they find out?

I work for a company and got a verbal warning last week, I am fed up with working there so I applied for a new job and have been offered one, in a different company. When they do references will they see I've got a verbal warning and maybe cancel my offer?

It's up to you. It might put your mind at rest. On the other hand it might remind them you had a warning and prompt them to put it on the reference!

Whatever you do, don't lie to the prospective employer.
