Free anti-virus software from McAfee for 12 months

Options
You can get yourself FREE McAfee anti-virus software with registration for all the updates from NatWest.com at the moment.

The idea is its available for customers, but I've found a work around!

Simply go to https://www.natwest.com, click the online banking login button, on the following page, click the logout button, then the next page that loads will display a big FREE PC security button at the bottom of the page. Follow this link and away you go!

Cheers

Dan

Although its free i wouldnt reccomend it and im sure quite a few other members dont.

Its bloatware and slows down your pc. I wouldnt touch this at all.

I reccomend this that is smaller, free and much better loved than McAfee.

  • If you are looking for truly free Antivirus stuff (and i'm sure this has been posted somewhere before) then go download AVG Free. It's one of the best programs i've used and it's completely free, doesn't fill your PC full of guff, and auto updates all the time to keep you as safe as possible.

I use the antivirus and the antispyware on my pc's and they are great.
Just watch the antispyware one - it deletes all your cookies for safety but I find it annoying to have to remember all my logins again.

*edit* yes the likes of macafee and norton just slow your pc down.

    WARNING !

If you have to register CC details to get this Mcaffee will automatically deduct renewal payments from your CC after 12 months !

It is hidden in the terms and conditions that you sign up for !

Let me get everyone correct, when you install it and it asks for your details it does not ask for your cc details!!! And it doesn't slow you down
