I have been off work for 2 months and am getting ssp.
How long can my employers pay me this for?

SSP is payable for 26 weeks after which you would need to claim ESA. Once you get close to that you should get a form from your employer to complete for this.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

For the first 13 weeks approx it is given on receipt of your fit-note. After this you will have to complete an ESA 50 form and may need a face-to-face assesement to determine your eligibility.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.

no, i have a disability that prevents me from working, have been with company for almost 3 years and have been well, then i went ill 2 months ago and can not work. Doctor keeps signing me off for 2 weeks at a time.
